ABOUT THE TEAM -
The Sport Research Lab (SRL) is a multidisciplinary team of researchers, innovators, and scientists who lead with science to make athletes measurably better, delivering validated insights and innovative capabilities to drive the future of the Company's products and services. The Field Research team within the SRL studies athletes as they move outside of the lab, in their daily lives and environments, using sensors, surveys, and more.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR -
We are looking for a passionate Research Associate to help plan and execute large scale field research initiatives, working directly with athletes to study movement.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON -
β’ Manage day-to-day logistics and support data collection & analysis for sport research programs.
β’ Interact with researchers, athletes, and other staff to communicate study details, troubleshoot equipment, and provide updates.
β’ Oversee inventory management of research tools and product.
β’ Summarize and visualize data from research.
β’ Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
β’ Assist with larger scale field-based research studies as part of the field research program.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH -
You'll work closely with 2 others on the core research team, with a broader team of ~5-10, plus researchers, athletes, and other staff across the program.
MUST-HAVE -
β’ Minimum of 2+ years' experience in human participant research.
β’ Hands-on experience with human subject testing.
β’ Experience with data processing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
β’ Experience in performance research.
β’ Creative problem solving.
β’ Strong organizational and communication skills.
NICE-TO-HAVE -
β’ Familiarity with biomechanics, wearable sensors, motion capture, and force plates.
β’ Python/Matlab programming knowledge preferred but not required.
β’ Exposure to industry research.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS -
β’ Degree highly preferred β ideally in a movement science field (biomechanics, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, etc.); no formal in-lieu-of substitution stated by hiring manager.
