Job Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC

Job Duration:12+ months (extension possible)

Shift Timing:1st shift 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM OT hours will be required if requested

Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.

Metatarsal safety boots are required on their first day.

Responsibilities:

As a (Product Engineer), you will....

• Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance of existing products
• Manage the implementation of multiple moderate Product projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date
• Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them
• Collaborate within a cross functional ream to provide engineering support

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences):

• Proficient in 3D CAD, other engineering tools & systems (Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS, etc.)
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems and the ability to troubleshoot them
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T
• Experience taking designs from ideas to fully implemented into production
• Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Electrical Engineering

• Experience with commercial mowing products or parallel industries
• Experience with gasoline and diesel engines and engine systems
• Experience with design for manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of systems engineering and or six sigma methodologies

Travel:

• Minimal travel (?10%)
