Provide daily triage and support for network and workstation printers in a large hospital environment. Respond to customer support requests, perform basic printer troubleshooting and break-fix activities, deliver toner, and ensure service issues are resolved quickly, accurately, and professionally. The role requires extensive walking, occasional local driving, lifting, multitasking, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for network and workstation printers.
• Respond to customer technical support requests and resolve issues quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Perform printer triage and basic break-fix activities, including checking paper jams and identifying the cause of printer issues.
• Escalate serious or complex problems to a Customer Service Technician as necessary.
• Keep customers informed of problem resolution progress.
• Provide end users with detailed remote access support and document complete troubleshooting information.
• Document all service calls and requests using TRAC Solution.
• Maintain service level requirements and support customer service expectations.
• Provide regular fleet updates, including printer fleet status and performance, to the appropriate manager.
• Deliver toner and transport small printers or equipment between locations as required.
• Maintain on-site printer hardware, parts, toner, and consumables inventory.
• Manage printer hot-swap inventory.
• Support printer procurement as required.
• Document and report all fleet meter reads.
• Maintain printer fleet tools and databases.
• Travel to nearby locations, including West Allis, Franklin, Bayview, and Oak Creek, to support service tickets.
• Work independently while managing multiple support requests and priorities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred.
• IT Help Desk Support experience, including application and hardware support.
• Printer break-fix or equipment repair experience preferred.
• ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• HP technical certifications preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of network and site-specific printers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions when standard procedures do not resolve an issue.
• Ability to walk extensively throughout customer premises and remain active throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and carry printers, small multifunction machines, and other equipment.
• Ability to lift or carry objects typically weighing less than 20 lbs.
• Requires moderate dexterity and regular use of a keyboard, calculator, hand tools, and eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to drive to nearby locations to work service tickets.
• Must use a personal vehicle when traveling between locations and transporting toner or small printers.
• Business casual dress required.
• No COVID requirements.

• Work includes interaction with end users, internal teams, vendors, agencies, and other personnel.
• Work location: Milwaukee, WI, with travel to nearby supported locations as required.
