Senior Software Engineer - mobile (All Genders)

As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.

We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 35+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).

• Location: you’re excited to work either from one of our offices (Berlin Mitte, London, Cologne) or fully remote - whatever suits you best.
• Experience: you have at least 8 years of relevant experience and feel confident in your role.
• Mobile expertise and full-stack approach: you have hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile apps (iOS, Android, or cross-platform), understand the specific challenges of mobile development, and you want to build full-stack using agentic engineering.
• Startup mindset: you enjoy working in a growing team and dynamic environment – and ideally, you’ve already gained experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced setting and like building things from the ground up.

• AI-First Development: You use AI not as an add-on, but as an integral part of a modern development workflow.
• Flutter Expertise: You have strong knowledge ofDart andFlutter and develop high-performance, high-quality mobile applications.
• Architecture & Code Quality:SOLID principles, clean structures and sustainable code quality are second nature to you.
• Mobile UX: You understand how good mobile products work – fromUI/UX principles to provendesign patterns.
• Quality Mindset: You work in a test-driven and quality-oriented manner and are familiar with commontesting methods in software development.
• Collaboration: You impress with apositive, proactive approach and actively contribute to strong team dynamics.

• Full-stack thinking: Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge ofback-end andDevOps.
• Platform expertise: Experience innative Android/iOS development is a strong plus.
• Firebase stack: You have practical experience withFirebase as a building block of modern mobile architectures.
• Product Analytics: You use tools such asAmplitude andBraze to understand user behaviour and specifically increase engagement.
