The Senior Graphic Designer (SGD) is responsible for developing high quality, strategically grounded visual communications for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. Transforming science and insights into breakthrough creative through a strong understanding of Medical Communications audiences—including payers, providers, health systems, and internal stakeholders, we simplify complexity.Â
We are looking for a confident designer who will maintain a high bar for detail and execution, and consistently translate complex content with clarity and creativity.Â
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Creative ExecutionÂ
- Design and produce high quality print, digital, and PowerPoint materials in support of Medical Communication initiatives (e.g., payer marketing, value tools, launch materials, unbranded/abovebrand campaigns)Â
- Translate complex scientific, economic, and access narratives into clear, engaging visual storytellingÂ
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all deliverablesÂ
Strategic ThinkingÂ
- Apply knowledge of Medical Communication audiences to creative decision makingÂ
- Participate in concept development and iterative refinement based on strategic objectives and stakeholder feedbackÂ
- Proactively propose new approaches, layouts, or visual systems to enhance clarity and impactÂ
CollaborationÂ
- Partner closely with Account, Medical, Strategy, and Project Management teams to deliver on time and on briefÂ
- Incorporate medical/legal/regulatory feedback accurately and efficientlyÂ
- Build trust and credibility with cross-functional colleagues through strong communication and reliabilityÂ
Process & OwnershipÂ
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionÂ
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams from concept through productionÂ
Minimum Education & Experience:Â Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fieldÂ
- 3-5+ years of professional design experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or agency environmentÂ
- Prior experience supporting Medical Communications, Market Access, Managed Markets, or payer focused work preferred Â
Preferred Education &Â Experience (optional):Â
Or equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.Â
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Technical SkillsÂ
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Â
- Strong PowerPoint design expertiseÂ
- Figma/XD skillsÂ
- Working knowledge of print and digital production processesÂ
- AI related skills and experienceÂ
- Video editing/motion graphics skills are a plus
- Ability to simplify complex information creativelyÂ
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Professional confidence and clear communication
