About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedPower BI Developer to design, build, and optimize business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background indata visualization, DAX, data modeling, and SQL, with hands-on expertise in developing interactive dashboards and implementing secure, scalable BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and developinteractive dashboards and reports using Power BI (custom visuals, native visuals, cross-filtering, bookmarks, parameter-driven reports).
- Write and optimizecomplex DAX expressions (CALCULATE, FILTER, SUMX, AVERAGEX, etc.).
- Build robustdata models including relationships, hierarchies, and storage modes (Import, DirectQuery, Dual, Live).
- Managedeployment pipelines, publish reports, and configureRow-Level Security (RLS).
- Perform data cleaning, shaping, and transformation usingPower Query and advancedM language functions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources such asSQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
- Write optimizedSQL queries with focus on joins, indexing, and query tuning.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and best practices in BI solution design.
- Power BI (4–8 years): Interactive dashboards, advanced DAX, data modeling, deployment & security.
- Power Query (3–6 years): Data transformation, M language, query folding.
- SQL (3–6 years): Query optimization, database structures, performance tuning.
- Experience in theBanking domain for faster business context understanding.
- Exposure tofinancial and project management dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
