What aCollege Intern – Manufacturing ProcessEngineer does at HP:

• Gain hands-onexposure to final assembly manufacturing processes,Industry 4.0 solutions and technologies, and essential professional skills—including root cause analysis, Lean Six Sigma,data analysis, and executivepresentations. 
• Work alongside the Process Engineering team to ensureassembly processesmeet quality and operationalperformance targets ininkjet printhead manufacturing. 
• Contribute to technical investigations and failure analyses of process-related quality issues, helping the team identify root causes and implement effective solutions. 
• Collaborate with teammatesand cross-functional partners on Industry 4.0and continuous improvement projects, developing innovative conceptsthat strengthen process capabilities andimproveline productivity. 

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Currently pursuing a degree inMechanical, Materials, Electrical,or Industrial Engineering,oranequivalent discipline. 
• Availability for a full-time internshipbeginning inJanuary 2027,with acommitment ofat least five to six months. 
• A foundational understanding ofmanufacturing processes and data analytics; practical or academic experience is an advantage. 
• The curiosity and agility to learnnew technologies and methodologies quickly. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through university coursework, projects, or related experience. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Basic programming experience in Python or asimilarlanguage. 
• A growth mindset, collaborative approach, and enthusiasm for learning and contributing as part of a team.
