Silverware & Flatware Polishing: Inspect washed forks, knives, and spoons; steam and polish them using clean microfiber cloths or run them through a commercial grain/cutlery polisher machine.
-
Glassware Care: Steam and hand-polish wine glasses, water goblets, and bar glassware using lint-free polishing towels to guarantee crystal-clear presentation.
-
Buffing & Sorting: Sort polished items by type, check for remaining water spots or chips, roll silverware into napkins (if required), and restock service stations for servers.
-
Copper, Brass & Wood Maintenance: Periodically polish decorative brass fixtures, copper serving trays, or wood accent tables using food-safe polishing compounds during pre-service prep.
-
Sanitation & Station Setup: Keep the polishing area clean, organized, and stocked with clean microfiber towels, hot water baths, or steaming equipment throughout the shift.
