Title: Policy & Procedure Writer – Capital Markets
Duration: 6 months
Location: 3 days onsite in NYC

Overview
Seeking an experienced Policy & Procedure Writer to support a leading capital markets organization. In this role, you will develop and maintain clear, accurate policy and procedure documentation across multiple trading and operations desks, with the opportunity to expand your scope as the engagement grows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author, review, and update policies and procedures for the following desks:
    • Repo
    • Collateral Management
    • Asset-Backed Securities (ABS)
    • Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
  • Partner with desk leads and operations teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects current workflows and regulatory requirements
  • Support potential expansion of documentation scope into FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) and Derivatives
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in policy and procedure writing, ideally within financial services or capital markets
  • Working knowledge of SEC lending, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and/or repo and collateral management operations
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial processes into clear, structured documentation
  • Operational understanding of capital markets products preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
  • College degree in related field
Rate: $50 - 60
