About Podium

Get more leads. Make more money.

Tech description:

Our frontend stack is React with our back end in Elixir and PostgreSQL. We are looking for self-driven people who are creative problem solvers, that learn quickly, and can thrive in a fast paced environment with little guidance.

Job description:

At Podium, we bring _AI_ Employees to local businesses that turn every conversation into revenue. Trusted by 60,000+ businesses across Auto, Home Services, and Aesthetics, Podium captures and converts leads 24/7, driving both new business and repeat customers.

In under 24 months, we crossed $100M in _AI_ Agent ARR, scaling 300% year-over-year. During this time, we’ve deployed 10,000 _AI_ employees to empower real business outcomes for our customers. Podium is building what we believe will be the most impactful _AI_ employee ecosystem for local business.

Podium has been recognized as the Best _AI_ Implementation by Inc. Magazine, highlighted by OpenAI for building revenue-driving _AI_ Agents, and awarded the #1 _AI_ Agent for Business Operations by G2.

Our growth is fueled by hiring exceptional people, holding them to high standards, and creating opportunities for them to grow and make an impact. Our [**operating principles**](https://www.podium.com/operating-principles) guide daily behavior and ensure we hire people who will thrive at Podium. If you're hungry for growth, aligned to our operating principles, and ready to get to work, you won't find a better place to learn and accelerate your career.

**About the role**

**We have an exciting Product Manager opportunity where we’re looking for YC founders!** You'll own both the product people use today and the platform we're building for tomorrow. This means shipping features that drive growth this quarter while architecting the systems that will power Podium for years to come. You're building products that businesses actually love using - consumer-grade experiences for the SMB market.

Here's what makes this role different: At Podium, product managers are builders. You'll use _AI_ tools - _Claude_, _Cursor_, LLMs - to prototype UIs, write code, and ship features alongside engineers. We don't believe you need a CS degree to build. We believe you need curiosity, agency, and a willingness to learn. If you can articulate what needs to exist, _AI_ can help you build it. This is the new SDLC, and we're pioneering it together.

This position is based in Lehi, UT.

**What you will be doing:**

* Own strategy end-to-end - Define what we build and why, from customer-facing features to platform infrastructure
* Build, don't just spec - Use _AI_ tools to prototype, write code, and ship alongside engineers. PMs here are builders
* Spend time with customers - Watch how they work, understand their workflows, identify what's missing
* Ship with speed - Get features in front of customers fast, learn from real usage, iterate based on data
* Make company-level decisions - Architecture choices, partnership strategy, integration priorities that affect how all teams build
* Design for scale - Build systems, patterns, and platforms that other teams will leverage

**What you should have:**

* High agency - You see what needs to happen and make it happen. You don't wait for permission
* Builder mindset - You've shipped products that customers love. You're not afraid to get into the weeds
* Technically curious - You may not be an engineer, but you understand systems, ask technical questions, and want to learn how things work
* Speed matters to you - You'd rather ship and learn than perfect in isolation
* Customer-obsessed - You believe great products come from understanding real workflows, not committee meetings
* Learning trajectory - You're excited about using _AI_ to build. You see this as the future of product work

**What we hope you have:**

* Built 0→1 products that scaled to real customer adoption
* Experience with _AI_ agents, LLMs, or human-in-the-loop systems
* You've used _AI_ tools (_Claude_, _Cursor_) to build prototypes or ship code
* Startup or founder experience - you've worn multiple hats and figured it out
* Vertical SaaS or SMB product experience
* Technical background (can read/write Python, React, SQL) is a plus but not required

**Why you’ll love working here:**

* Podium is the best place to work to:
* Join the leaders in _AI_ agents
* Unlock career-defining growth
* Build with world-class talent
* Make a real impact on local business

**Benefits:**

* (If local to Utah) Work in [**this building**](https://podium.wistia.com/medias/3tvlyz6urx) in Lehi, UT 5 days a week
* Open and transparent culture
* Life insurance, long and short-term disability coverage
* Paid maternity and paternity leave
* Fertility Benefits
* Generous vacation time, plus three 4-day summer holiday weekends
* Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits
* 401k Plan
* Bi-annual swag drops with cool Podium gear and apparel
* A stellar HQ (Utah) gym with local professional coaches and classes offered
* Onsite HQ (Utah) child care center, subsidized for employees
