Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer

Introduction

This position is part of a North American Engineering organization. The role is co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant, working closely with the vehicle production team to ensure quality and efficiency in vehicle assembly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Critical problem-solving skills
• 5 years of experience in Product Development, Quality, Program, or Manufacturing
• Ability to work onsite from day one
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Six Sigma Black Belt training
• Experience as a Design Release Engineer

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze and fix quality issues on components shipped into the assembly plant
• Collaborate with the Body Exterior engineering team to deliver quality objectives
• Focus on Body Exterior Trim, Decals, Bumpers, Latches, and Sealing
