Position Overview

We are seeking dependable Production Laborers / Manufacturing Associates to support a recycling and insulation manufacturing operation in Houston, TX.

This is a hands-on production position responsible for feeding paper, magazines, and cardboard onto a conveyor system, where the material is shredded and recycled for use in acoustic and thermal insulation products.

The position is physically active and requires employees to remain on their feet throughout a 12-hour shift, except during scheduled breaks.

Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, but the primary requirements are reliability, safety awareness, physical stamina, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Feed paper, magazines, cardboard, and other recyclable materials onto a conveyor belt.
• Support the continuous flow of materials through the production process.
• Handle and move production materials as required.
• Maintain an efficient and organized work area.
• Follow established manufacturing and warehouse procedures.
• Follow all site safety rules and instructions.
• Work safely around conveyor and production equipment.
• Maintain awareness of potential workplace hazards.
• Perform repetitive production and material-handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Assist the production team with other general plant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures.
• Ability to understand safety training and workplace instructions provided in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Flexibility to work some Saturdays as required.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and remain on their feet for nearly the entire 12-hour shift, excluding breaks.
• Perform repetitive physical production work.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work around production and conveyor equipment.
• Wear required steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes/boots.

Work Environment

This position works inside an enclosed, non-climate-controlled warehouse/manufacturing facility.

The production process involves shredding paper and cardboard for recycling, so the environment can be dusty.

Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
