About the role

• Lead product development as the focal point forsignificant new-to-Dysonproduct offerings. 

• Own theuser specification,keyclaimsand technicalrequirements to deliver a compelling product. 

• Provideclearleadership, and decision making toresolveconflictingproduct and projectrequirements. 

• Deliver project on time to the success criteria to maximise return on investment. 

• Manageboth product cost andproject spend to ensurethebusinessobjectives are achieved. 

• Influencethe “go to market” strategy tooptimise sales volume and market mix to promote profit. 

• Ensure product reliability and qualitytargets are achieved. 

• Escalate relevantprojectrisks and issues at the right timeto the right forum toremove blockers. 

• Drivea culture ofidentification and resolution ofproject risks and issues. 

• Engage inthe operations and procurement strategy and execution todeliver a robustmanufacturing and supply solution. 

• Proactively champion change &continuousimprovement to adopt better ways of working. 

About you

• Degree inEngineering or Science ordemonstrate equivalent experience. Knowledge of Systems Engineering is preferred. 

• 8+ years’ experience of managing technicalor manufactured productsend to end. 

• Knowledge and understanding of multiple tooling and manufacturing techniques.  

• Proven experience of delivering robust design solutions on time, to specification and within cost and budget constraints.  

• Project management capability including schedule and risk management isrequired. 

• Experience deliveringwithin a product development frameworkrequired. 

• Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering (hardware &software). 

• Exposure toproduction operations,procurement, supply chain,marketing and salesrequired. 

• Experience of managing people, mentoring, and coaching.
