ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a personal injury law clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal team in managing both Accident Benefits (AB) and Tort files. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, liaising with clients, preparing for trials, and collaborating closely with lawyers to ensure effective case management. You will have the opportunity to work on complex cases, contribute to trial preparation, and assist in advocating for the rights of clients.
THE OFFER:
The firm offers a competitive salary ($60,000 to $80,000) commensurate with experience and expertise, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and development.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A solid understanding and at minimum 3+ years of experience working in personal injury law, specifically in the areas of Accident Benefits (AB) and Tort files.
- Proven experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Proficiency in utilizing legal software and case management systems.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
