The Role

You’ll play a key role in designing and building high-quality data products that power analytics and critical business capabilities.

As our Senior Data Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Build and maintainscalable data pipelines and transformations across a range of workloads
  • Deliverreliable, well-structured data products aligned to business needs and platform direction
  • Work across the fulldata lifecycle, from ingestion through to delivery and consumption
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements intousable and trusted datasets
  • Embeddata quality, observability and reliability practices into pipelines from day one
  • Contribute tomonitoring, incident response and continuous improvement of the platform
  • Supportperformance and cost optimisation across data workloads
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute toteam standards and best practices

About You

You’re a hands-on data engineer who thrives in modern cloud environments and enjoys solving complex data challenges.

  • Solid experience deliveringproduction-grade data pipelines on modern platforms
  • Strong expertise working withmodern data platforms (experience with Snowflake or similar technologies highly regarded)
  • Experience withorchestration tools and modern CI/CD practices
  • Strong data modelling capabilities and understanding of scalable data design principles
  • Proficiency indata engineering tools and languages such as dbt, Python or Java, and familiarity with streaming concepts
  • Experience working incloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • A good understanding ofdata quality, governance and observability practices
  • Interest in building data capabilities that supportadvanced analytical use cases
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
