Pediatric Pulmonologist (57102)

Provides patient care in outpatient and/or inpatient specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing respiratory and lung-related conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. This role requires expertise in pediatric care, a patient-centered approach, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional medical care for young patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders.

Qualifications

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training.

License/Registration/Certification

• Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the specialty of planned clinical activity.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
• Current specialty specific cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Education and Training

• Completion of a four-year M.D./D.O. degree program and medical residency.
• Completion of a ACGME approved (or equivalent) post-graduate training in pediatric pulmonology followed by successful completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Pediatric Pulmonology Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
