Payroll Manager

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an experiencedPayroll Manager to oversee and manage full-cycle payroll operations for approximately200 employees. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in ahands-on, manual payroll environment and is comfortable ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manageend-to-end payroll for 200 employees
• Oversee and maintaintimekeeping systems and ensure accurate data entry
• Prepare and analyzepayroll reports for internal and compliance purposes
• Ensure compliance withfederal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Handlepayroll tax filings, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits as needed
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams on payroll-related matters

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing payroll formid-sized employee populations (~200 employees)
• Strong knowledge ofpayroll taxes, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work effectively in amore manual payroll environment (not fully automated)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Experience in theconstruction industry a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish  a plus
