Senior Accountant – NetSuite (Multi-Entity, GL, Reconciliations – Remote, U.S. Hours)

About the Role

We’re hiring aSenior Accountant (NetSuite) to manageday-to-day accounting operations, close cycles, and financial reporting across multiple entities.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll owngeneral ledger accuracy, reconciliations, and month-end close — ensuring clean, reliable financials with minimal oversight.

If you have strongNetSuite experience, multi-entity accounting exposure, and high attention to detail, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Close Execution

• Maintain accurategeneral ledger, journal entries, and financial records
• Ownmonth-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Prepare and review:
• Balance sheets
• Income statements
• Entity-level P&Ls
• Performbank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Multi-Entity & Project-Level Accounting

• Manage accounting acrossmultiple entities (operating companies, investments, development projects)
• Trackproject-level expenses and property-level P&Ls
• Ensure alignment betweencompany and personal financial structures
• Support new entity setups and future project expansions

Compliance & External Collaboration

• Ensure compliance withGAAP and internal controls
• Work with external partners (e.g.,Baker Tilly) on:
• Tax coordination
• Cost segregation
• Quarterly reviews
• Prepare documentation foraudits and filings

Cross-Functional Financial Support

• Support leadership (VP of Asset Management, CFO) withfinancial reporting and insights
• Provide accurate data fordecision-making and forecasting

Systems, Tools & Data Discipline

• Work daily inNetSuite (core system)
• Support workflows inAppFolio (property/investor management)
• Maintain organized processes using tools likeGmail and ClickUp
• Ensuredata accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience withNetSuite (daily usage, imports, reconciliations)
• AdvancedExcel / Google Sheets skills (large datasets, reconciliations)
• Proven experience with:
• General ledger management
• Journal entries and reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently withminimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with clear financial explanations
• Comfortable workingremote during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Experience withmulti-entity accounting structures
• Experience inreal estate, development, or investment accounting
• Familiarity withAppFolio or similar property management systems
• Experience working withexternal accounting firms or auditors
