Job Title:Full Stack Engineer

Location: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: US Hours - EST

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing marketing agency serving over 150 home service businesses. They specialize in performance-driven campaigns and are heavily investing in AI and automation to improve lead generation, tracking accuracy, and operational efficiency.

They are looking for ahands-on Full Stack Engineer with proven experience in marketing/ad tech environments to build and scale internal systems that directly support campaign performance and revenue operations.

This is abuilder role, not a strategy-only position.

You will develop internal tools, integrate AI into marketing workflows, and improve how the agency operates acrossad platforms, tracking systems, and CRM-driven pipelines.

You’ll work closely with leadership, media buyers, and operators to turn ideas intoproduction-ready systems that directly impact campaign performance and lead conversion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Tool Development (Primary Focus)

  • Build and deploy internal tools usingNext.js, React, and Python
  • Developmarketing dashboards, reporting systems, and operational tools
  • Replace manual workflows with scalable, automated solutions

2. Marketing Data, Tracking & Attribution (Core Focus)

  • Implement and optimizeMeta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI)
  • Ensure accurateevent tracking, deduplication, and attribution
  • Build pipelines connectingad platforms β†’ backend systems β†’ dashboards
  • Develop reporting systems that enablecampaign optimization (ROAS, CPL, conversion quality)

3. AI Integration in Marketing Workflows

  • Apply AI to real marketing use cases such as:
    • Ad copy and creative generation
    • Lead scoring and qualification
    • Campaign insights and reporting automation
  • Work with APIs such asOpenAI and similar AI platforms
  • Build AI systems embedded intolive marketing and operational workflows

4. CRM & Lead Lifecycle Automation (Critical)

  • Integrate and automate CRM systems such asGoHighLevel, Close CRM, HubSpot, or similar
  • Build systems connectinglead capture β†’ CRM β†’ follow-ups β†’ conversion tracking
  • Implement automations includinglead routing, pipeline management, and conversion syncing (offline events/CAPI)
  • Ensuredata consistency between ad platforms and CRM outcomes

5. Rapid Execution & Iteration

  • Ship quickly, test, and iterate based on real campaign data
  • Collaborate with media buyers to solvecampaign and operational bottlenecks
  • Continuously improve systems that impactmarketing performance and efficiency

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
  • Strong full-stack skills (React / Next.js + Python)
  • Proven experience building and deployingproduction-level tools and systems
  • Experience working withAPIs, webhooks, and automation systems
  • Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work
  • Hands-on experience working in marketing or ad tech environments (agency or performance marketing preferred)
  • Experience implementing or working with Meta Pixel and/or Conversion API (CAPI), including event tracking, deduplication, and attribution
  • Experience building dashboards or reporting systems for marketing campaigns (e.g., Meta Ads performance)
  • Hands-on experience integrating and automating CRM systems (e.g., GoHighLevel, Close, HubSpot, or similar)
    • Includinglead capture, routing, pipeline management, and conversion tracking
    • Experience connectingad platforms with CRM systems for attribution and reporting
  • Builder mindset with a strong bias toward execution

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in aperformance marketing agency environment
  • Familiarity withpaid media metrics (ROAS, CPL, CAC, conversion rates)
  • Experience with tools likeZapier, Make, or similar automation platforms
  • Understanding ofdata pipelines and attribution challenges (e.g., iOS/privacy changes)
