About the Position

Location: Remote, U.S.

We are seeking astrategic, hands-on Director/Head of FP&A to build and lead a best-in-class financial planning function in a high-growthIT / Managed Services environment.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will serve as akey business partner to the executive team, driving financial strategy, performance insights, and operational rigor across the organization. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to theBoard and investors.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience intechnology or services-based business models, ideally within aprivate equity-backed company, and are comfortable operating in afast-paced, global environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team, deliveringdata-driven insights that influence key decisions
  • Lead financial strategy, aligning planning efforts with company growth and value creation goals
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership

FP&A & Business Performance

  • Own the end-to-endbudgeting, forecasting, long-range planning processes, and monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Develop and maintaindriver-based financial models (revenue, gross margin, profitability, cash flow)
  • Leadvariance analysis and performance tracking, holding business partners accountable to targets
  • Analyze resource utilization metrics (billable vs. non-billable) tooptimize productivity and reduce revenue leakage

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

  • Partner withSales, Delivery, and Marketing to drive revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Supportpipelineforecasting, conversion analysis, and pricing strategies, including large multi-year deals
  • Provide financial leadership forcost optimization initiatives, capital allocation, and M&A activities

Team Leadership & Build-Out (Critical)

  • Build, scale, and lead a high-performing FP&A team
  • Establish best practices, processes, and operating cadence across the function
  • Foster a culture ofaccountability, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence
  • Partner closely with Controllership to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Data, Systems & Analytics

  • Drive adoption ofFP&A tools, automation, and advanced analytics
  • Improve data infrastructure to enablereal-time, decision-ready insights

Board & Investor Engagement

  • Own preparation offinancial presentations,Board decks, investor reporting, and lender materials
  • Supportdue diligence and corporate development initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred)
  • 12+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven experiencebuilding and scaling an FP&A function and team in atechnology, services, or managed services environment (required)
  • Strong experience withservices-based business models (e.g., utilization, project-based revenue, margin optimization)
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise, with full ownership offorecasting, variance analysis, and performance accountability
  • Ability toturn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions and outcomes (not just reporting)
  • Strong executive presence with the ability toinfluence senior leadership and present to the Board
  • Experience operating in afast-paced, global, and dynamic environment
  • Experience withfinancial systems and analytics platforms (e.g., Domo, NetSuite, Workday, Power BI, etc.)
  • StrongExcel skills and exposure toAI-based tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aprivate equity-backed company
  • Experience partnering deeply withSales organizations on pricing, pipeline, and deal structuring

Compensation & Benefits

  • $170,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with depth of FP&A experience
