Who We Are Looking ForÂ
Effectively designs and codes R and SQL programsÂ
for assigned project(s), consistently meeting project objectivesÂ
Clean and validate Real-World Data (RWD)Â
to ensure consistency and reliabilityÂ
Implement programming based on RWE protocolsÂ
using a variety of RWD sources, including Optum and FlatironÂ
Leverage advanced statistical and epidemiological methodologiesÂ
to deliver robust and reliable analysesÂ
Create, review, and approve programming plansÂ
at both study and project levelsÂ
Demonstrate advanced knowledgeÂ
of programming, epidemiological methodology implementation,Â
and system development life cycle conceptsÂ
Maintain clear documentationÂ
of analytical programming and operational definitionsÂ
to support reproducible and auditable RWE studiesÂ
Develop dashboards, reports, and presentationsÂ
to effectively communicate findingsÂ
Collaborate with study team membersÂ
to meet study timelines and recurring reporting deadlinesÂ

What You Will DoÂ
Effectively designs and codes R and SQL programs for assigned project(s)Â
consistently meeting objectives of the project.Â
Clean and validate RWDÂ
for consistency and reliabilityÂ
Implement programming as specified from RWE protocolÂ
using a variety of RWD from multiple sources, including Optum and FlatironÂ
Leverage advanced statistical and epidemiological methodologiesÂ
to deliver robust and reliable analysesÂ
Create or review and approve programming plansÂ
at study and project level.Â
Displays highly advanced knowledge regarding program, epidemiology methodologies implementationÂ
and system development life cycle concepts.Â
Maintain clear documentation of analytical programming and operational definitionsÂ
to support reproducible and auditable RWE studiesÂ
Develop dashboards, reports, and presentationsÂ
to communicate findingsÂ
Work collaboratively with members of study teamsÂ
to meet study and recurring report timelinesÂ
Â
Who You AreÂ
MS in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or related disciplineÂ
At least 7 years of experience in Real-World Data (RWD) analysis and Real-World Analytics (RWA)Â using healthcare claims, EMR, and/or registry databases within the biopharmaceutical industry or provider/payer organizationsÂ
Includes strong hands-on experience with Optum and/or Flatiron dataÂ
Fluency in SQL and R programming is requiredÂ
Experience writing original code and performing raw data analysis (not derived solely from clinical trials)Â
Includes running analyses and/or developing code for real-world analysesÂ
Knowledge of SAS and/or Python is considered an advantageÂ
Familiarity with US and global healthcare coding systemsÂ
(e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, MedDRA)Â
And healthcare delivery systems (e.g., payers and reimbursement models)Â
Experience conducting routine and advanced statistical analyses for RWE generationÂ
Including time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal dataÂ
Experience with big data analytical platformsÂ
Deep understanding of observational study analysisÂ
Ability to work independently and contribute to scrum development goalsÂ
In a fast-paced, flexible, team-oriented environmentÂ
Strong communication and collaboration skillsÂ
Competent in written and oral English.
