Paralegal (On-site)

We are seeking a qualified Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support related to regulatory compliance matters.

• Review and respond to correspondence from regulated entities regarding compliance with the Department of Financial Services’ Cybersecurity Regulation
• Respond to phone calls and voicemails regarding cybersecurity regulatory compliance matters
• Address related matters and inquiries as instructed
• Provide legal and administrative support as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Knowledge of basic legal processes, legal terminology, and legal forms
• Knowledge of legal research techniques
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret laws, legal documents, regulations, and other written materials
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Paralegal Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing complex clerical-level legal support services to an attorney
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• At least 1 year of full-time work experience with the same employer

Preferred Experience

• Cybersecurity or data privacy experience
• Experience reviewing and responding to email and correspondence from government-regulated businesses and individuals
