PALS, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Adult Residential Facility Administrator to lead the daily operations of our licensed residential facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role oversees facility operations, ensures compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations, supervises staff, and promotes a safe, person-centered environment that supports residents' health, independence, and well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the residential facility.
- Oversee compliance with California Title 17 and Title 22 regulations, ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Supervise, train, and support residential/direct care staff.
- Manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
- Oversee resident care, service plans, wellness, and program implementation
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
- Maintain accurate resident records, staff documentation, and incident reports
- Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting and corrective action.
- Serve as the primary liaison with families and healthcare providers
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate monthly staff meetings.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Respond to emergencies and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/management experience in residential care, healthcare, or human services, or three (3) years of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience managing budgets, facility operations, and compliance audits.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and health screening
Training & Certification Requirements
- Current ARF Administrator Certification
- DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid and CPI certifications within 30 days of hire (training provided by PALS).

Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 6AM to 2PM
- On-Call availability as needed
