About the Company

Paleovalley and Wild Pastures were born from a simple but radical idea: real food can heal — people, animals, and the planet. When Paleovalley co-founders Autumn and Chas Smith saw how industrialized food was affecting human health and the health of the land, they refused to play along. Autumn’s own journey of healing through nutrient-dense foods lit a fire that became Paleovalley. From there, the mission grew roots, sprouted wings, and eventually expanded into Wild Pastures to bring regeneratively raised meats directly to families nationwide.

Today, Paleovalley crafts deeply nourishing snacks and supplements made with organic ingredients and honorable sourcing. Wild Pastures connects small American farmers practicing regenerative agriculture with customers who believe better food is worth fighting for. Every product, every partnership, and every decision is guided by a commitment to real ingredients, regenerative practices, and the belief that health is built from the soil up.

We’re a team of grounded doers, curious thinkers, bold builders, and warm humans who like to laugh while doing meaningful work. We're growing quickly, fueled by purpose and a shared desire to repair the food system one thoughtful choice at a time. If you feel energized by impact, drawn to mission, and ready to join a company rewriting the future of food, we’d love to meet you!

About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Meta Media Buyer to take full ownership of Wild Pastures' paid social growth across Facebook and Instagram.

You'll own the strategy, execution, optimization, and scaling of our Meta account, driving profitable customer acquisition for a subscription-based e-commerce business while working closely with our creative team to develop high-performing advertising.

This isn't a role where you'll simply manage campaigns. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex performance problems, thinks critically, challenges assumptions with data, and continuously looks for new opportunities to grow the business.

You'll collaborate closely with our creative strategists, editors, designers, and leadership team to turn performance insights into better creative—and better creative into stronger business results.

We value specialization over generalization. If Meta is your craft and you're passionate about becoming exceptional at it, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Meta as a growth channel for Wild Pastures, managing campaign strategy, account structure, budget allocation, optimization, and scaling across Facebook and Instagram.
  • Drive profitable growth for a subscription business by managing performance against clear business objectives, including ROAS, MER, nCAC, CPA, customer lifetime value (LTV), and payback efficiency.
  • Design and execute structured testing roadmaps across creative, offers, landing pages, campaign structures, and bidding strategies to continuously improve account performance.
  • Partner closely with creative strategists, editors, and designers to brief new concepts, review assets before launch, and provide actionable feedback based on performance data.
  • Transform performance insights into creative direction by identifying patterns, winning messaging, audience behaviors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor account performance daily, proactively identifying trends, investigating root causes, and communicating risks, opportunities, and recommendations before they become larger problems.
  • Stay up to date with Meta platform changes, measurement updates, attribution best practices, and emerging direct-response advertising trends.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta advertising for subscription-based e-commerce or direct-response brands.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring customers profitably for subscription businesses, with a strong understanding of customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), retention, churn, and payback period.
  • A proven track record of scaling profitable campaigns while managing meaningful advertising budgets.
  • Experience owning a Meta account end-to-end, from strategy through execution and optimization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and genuine curiosity for solving performance problems.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and how they connect to overall business growth.
  • Experience optimizing for subscription-specific business metrics rather than first-purchase revenue alone, with an understanding of customer quality, retention, and long-term profitability.
  • Comfortable using analytics and attribution platforms beyond Ads Manager (GA4, Haus, Mixpanel, or similar tools are a plus).
  • Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes effective direct-response advertising.
  • Ability to translate performance insights into actionable creative feedback that improves future campaigns.
  • Experience working closely with creative teams through briefing, iteration, and testing.

Bonus Points

  •  Experience marketing premium food, health, wellness, supplement, or direct-to-consumer subscription brands..
  •  Experience working within high-growth ecommerce companies..
  • Experience with AI-driven campaign optimization and emerging Google advertising technologies..
  •  Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and direct-response marketing..
  •  A passion for regenerative agriculture, nutrient-dense food, health, or wellness.

Our Commitment to You

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% employer-paid dental/vision and a small monthly medical premium for employees; dependents may be added at employee cost
  • Generous Paid time off to support balance and rest
  • Paid sick time for when you need it
  • Six (6) paid holidays each year
  • Paid parental leave for growing families
  • 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match after one year of service
  • Monthly product stipend or access to perfectly imperfect damaged product so you can enjoy the nutrient-dense foods you help bring to others
