Sambla Group is a fintech company with a clear goal – to be your trusted financial partner. We’ve grown into one of the fastest-growing fintech companies, bridging the gap between borrowers and lenders, thanks to the 500+ amazing people who work here. In the summer of 2026, we were granted authorisation as a credit market company, marking an important milestone in our continued journey to expand into own lending and opening an exciting new chapter for Sambla Group.

At Sambla Group, we are building the next phase of our business: a broader, more tech-enabled personal finance ecosystem across the Nordics. We combine technology, data and human expertise to help people make smarter financial choices through life’s turns.

Now we are looking for aPeople Business Partnerto help us build the organization needed for that journey. This is a role for someone who is commercially sharp, structured and ambitious.

You will partner closely with leaders in Product & Tech, Marketing and other central functions, while working side by side with our Chief People & Culture Officer on strategic People initiatives. Your focus will be to translate business priorities into people, organization and leadership initiatives that help Sambla Group scale in a smart, sustainable and human way. This position is based at our headquarters in Stockholm, located at Tulegatan 4.

About the role

You will play an important role in strengthening how we organize, lead and develop our people. That means working across transformation, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership support, career architecture, capability building and change management.

A key part of the role will also be to help us stay forward-leaning in how we use AI, data and modern ways of working. We want technology to make us sharper, faster and more effective, without losing the human side of how we lead, collaborate and build trust.

At Sambla Group, our shared operating rhythm is calledDrive & Jive. It is about creating momentum through direction, collaboration and human connection. In this role, you will help bring that rhythm into how our central functions grow and work together.

What you will do

You will drive and contribute to initiatives such as:

  • Act as a strategic People Business Partner to senior leaders across Product & Tech, Marketing and other central functions, translating business priorities into clear people and organization plans.

  • Partner closely with the Chief People & Culture Officer and senior leadership as a trusted sparring partner, driving strategic People initiatives, transformation and change management.

  • Lead workforce planning, including capability mapping, succession thinking, future talent needs and organizational design to support scalability and long-term business growth.

  • Build career paths, role frameworks and development structures that enable employee growth, leadership effectiveness and high-performing teams.

  • Strengthen organizational capabilities connected to AI, automation, data-driven decision-making and modern tech-enabled ways of working.

  • Use data, insights and structured problem-solving to shape recommendations, influence decisions and support organizational health.

  • Collaborate with the Global People Team to create scalable, consistent and business-relevant People practices across Sambla Group.

Who you are

For us, this is not about a specific number of years of experience. It is about having the right experience, mindset and ability to create impact.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand commercial priorities, strategic trade-offs and organizational implications.

  • Proven project management skills and the ability to lead complex initiatives from problem definition to execution.

  • Experience working closely with Product, Tech, or other knowledge-intensive functions.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust with senior leaders.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data, insights and structured problem-solving to drive recommendations.

  • Experience from matrix organizations and the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and different stakeholder perspectives.

  • Understanding of OKRs, mature tech processes and modern product/tech ways of working.

  • The ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

  • Experience from private equity-owned companies, scale-ups or fast-moving transformation environments is a strong advantage.

Your profile

To thrive in this role, we believe you are intellectually curious, commercially sharp and ambitious. You want to be in a role where you can understand the business, challenge thinking and help shape how the organization develops.

You quickly make sense of complex situations. You break them down into clear priorities, create structure and move things forward. You are comfortable working with senior leaders, but you are just as willing to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.

You bring a consulting-like approach to problem-solving, but you know that strong People work also requires empathy, trust and good judgment. You listen well, ask sharp questions and know how to turn insight into action.

Most importantly, you want to build. You are motivated by transformation, growth and the opportunity to help shape the future of Sambla Group.

What we offer

At Sambla Group, you will join an ambitious, entrepreneurial and fast-moving organization with strong growth ambitions. Our employer ambition is to be an attractive and innovative employer with engaged and motivated employees in a genuine, energy-filled and result-oriented work environment.

You will become part of the Global People Team and work closely with senior leaders across the business. The role offers broad exposure, real responsibility and the opportunity to influence how we organize, lead and scale our central functions.

This is an opportunity to work close to the Chief People & Culture Officer and play a central role in strengthening the people and organizational agenda across Sambla Group.
