Electrical Specialist (Maintenance Fly Team)

Our client is amajor oil & gas operator, active in Gabon and recognized for its high standards in terms of safety, performance, and responsibility.

As part of its development, the company is looking for anElectrical Specialist to join amobile maintenance team (Fly Team). The role involves ensuring theproper operation and safety of electrical installations across multiple sites, within a demanding and highly regulated environment.

• Design, configure, maintain and troubleshootPLC and industrial automation systems.
• Support the operation and maintenance ofICSS, DCS, SIS and related control systems.
• Manage and supportPI System / OSIsoft historian and process data systems.
• Develop and maintain interfaces betweenPLC/ICSS, PI System, SAP and other OT/IT systems.
• Monitor system performance and investigate automation, control and data-related issues.
• Perform fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop and maintain automation documentation, system specifications and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT/OT and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement, system optimisation and reliability initiatives.
• Ensure automation systems comply with applicablesafety, cybersecurity and engineering standards.

• Hold a diploma of Engineering or equivalent.
• Hold a postgraduate degree and specialized experience in the Oil & Gas industry or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Oil and Gas operations and/or maintenance.
• Proven track-record in technical management of operations and/or maintenance.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly in SAP, PI OSISOFT / PLC & ICSS is a plus.
• Specific professional knowledge in industrial combustion gas turbines, power generator, centrifugal & reciprocating compressor, centrifugal & reciprocating pumps.
• An open-minded individual, with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently present and defend proposals, and provide innovative solutions.
• Fluent in both English and French with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
