Administration Â
Serve in providing administrative support to Area Ministry Director in Upstate New York:Â
Design andmaintain daily, monthly, and annual schedulesÂ
Updating calendars with staff related dates and eventsÂ
Organize,maintain and control a wide variety offiles;i.e. confidential files, mailing lists, meeting minutes, etc.Â
Coordinate meetinglogistics including travel, housing,mealsplans, etc.Â
Complete and/or verify expense reports and corporate credit card reportsÂ
Draft various forms of correspondence and communications upon request Â
Provide hospitality for in person meetings Â
Screen and route calls, email, messages, etc. to theappropriate person or teamÂ
Respond to voice mail and e-mail inquiriesÂ
Aid in the communication between internal and external individuals and departmentsÂ
Work in partnership within the team and with other teams on specific eventsÂ
Stay current with technical and professional growth and developmentÂ
Perform other duties and projects as assignedÂ
Â
Fund DevelopmentÂ
As required, raise aportion of salary in an amount or percentage agreed upon withDirector.Â

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of FaithÂ
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education/experienceÂ
Basic administrative and organizational skillsÂ
A working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Â
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential mannerÂ
Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environmentÂ
Familiarity with basic Microsoft applications such as Word and OutlookÂ
Effective oral and written communication skillsÂ
Willingness to raise a mutually agreed upon amount of personal support, asrequiredÂ
Ability to work under pressure of deadlinesÂ
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksÂ
Open to learn new concepts,methods and skillsÂ
Flexible scheduleÂ
Pay:This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual’s ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.
