The Role

Baxter is seeking an energetic, driven, and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our Planning & Fulfillment team.Â
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing the movement of essential healthcare equipment across Australia, while gaining exposure to planning, fulfilment, customer operations, and large-scale logistics projects.Â
Reporting directly to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders, service teams, freight providers, warehouses, and customers to ensure seamless delivery and installation experiences. Key responsibilitiesÂ
You'll be responsible for coordinating the allocation, movement, installation, and retrieval of critical capital equipment, including hospital beds and surgical tables, ensuring customers receive exceptional service every step of the way.Â
Key responsibilities include:Â
- Managing the end-to-end logistics of capital equipment across AustraliaÂ
- Coordinating freight movements with carriers, warehouses, service technicians, and internal teamsÂ
- Working closely with Planning & Fulfillment to optimise stock allocation and product availabilityÂ
- Supporting major installation projects and customer deploymentsÂ
- Maintaining strong relationships with freight partners and key stakeholdersÂ
- Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiencyÂ
- Monitoring logistics performance and analysing data to identify trends and opportunitiesÂ
- Providing proactive communication and problem resolution for customers and internal stakeholders.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience within the Australian domestic freight and transport industryÂ
- Experience coordinating freight movements across multiple carriers and locationsÂ
- Strong understanding of freight operations, transport networks, delivery scheduling, and logistics executionÂ
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight carriers, and warehouse operationsÂ
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skillsÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesÂ
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsÂ
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applicationsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentÂ
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiencies and customer experience.
