Director - AI Practice & Solutions, India

Role Overview

We are looking for ahigh-impact Director - AI Practice & Solutions to build, scale, and lead our AI capabilities in India. This role demands astrong technical leader who can drive solutioning, guide engineering teams, engage with customers, and contribute to business growth.

This isnot a project/program management role—it is ahands-on technical leadership + practice building role with ownership across delivery, capability development, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Solutioning

• Act as aStrong Technical Capability Lead for AI/ML and related technologies
• Driveend-to-end solution architecture for AI-led engagements
• Providehands-on technical guidance to teams on design, development, and deployment
• Review and ensurehigh-quality, scalable, and production-ready solutions
• Stay current with evolving AI trends (GenAI, LLMs, MLOps, etc.) and apply them in delivery

2. Practice Building (AI)

• Build and scale theAI Practice in India aligned with Oteemo’s global vision
• Definecapabilities, offerings, accelerators, and reusable assets
• DevelopAI service lines (e.g., GenAI, AI/ML, Data Science, MLOps)
• Mentor and grow ahigh-performing AI engineering team
• Drivehiring strategy, capability development, and certifications

3. Delivery Oversight (Hands-on)

• Work closely with teams ontechnical problem-solving and execution
• Ensurebest practices in AI engineering, DevOps, and cloud are followed
• Step in as atechnical anchor in critical engagements
• Balancearchitecture, coding guidance, and delivery excellence

4. Account Management & Customer Engagement

• Build strong relationships withkey customer stakeholders
• Act as atrusted technical advisor to clients
• Participate inaccount planning, solution discussions, and technical workshops
• Supportpre-sales, proposals, and client presentations

5. Business Growth & Market Presence

• Contribute torevenue growth through AI-led opportunities
• Identify and driveupsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with leadership ongo-to-market strategies
• Represent Oteemo atindustry events, conferences, and client forums
• Buildstrategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships

6. Cross-Practice Collaboration

• Work across Oteemo service offerings such as:
• Cloud & DevOps
• Platform Engineering
• SRE / Infrastructure
• BringAI-led enhancements into existing offerings
• Leverage experience/exposure tomulti-domain capabilities

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience inAI/ML, GenAI, and Data Engineering ecosystems
• Hands-on expertise in:
• Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• MLOps & scalable AI deployment
• Proven ability todesign and lead complex AI solutions

Leadership & Business Skills

• Demonstrated experience inbuilding and scaling practices/COEs
• Strongcustomer-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience inaccount management and revenue growth
• Ability toblend technology with business outcomes

Experience

• 12–18+ years in technology, withrecent focus on AI/ML
• Experience inIT services / consulting environment
• Prior exposure toglobal delivery models
• Experience working acrossmultiple service offerings (preferred)
