Insurance Administrator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring aInsurance Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

You will keep a UK insurance broker's policies, renewals and client records accurate, so cover is never missed and clients are never chased twice. This is a hands-on role where accuracy and follow-through matter every day, and you will be trusted to work independently without being chased. You will also be part of a supportive remote team, with regular check-ins, clear priorities and the tools you need to do your best work from day one, so you always know what good looks like.

You will work UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK, 11:00–19:00 SAST) from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers. Remote Recruitment supports you from placement onwards.

Key responsibilities

• Process new policies, renewals and mid-term adjustments
• Prepare quotes and documentation for clients
• Update the broker management system accurately
• Chase insurers and clients for outstanding items
• Diary renewals well ahead of expiry

What you'll need

• Experience in insurance or broker administration
• Confident with a broker system such as Acturis or Open GI
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear written English
• Comfortable working to renewal deadlines

Nice to have

• CII or similar study progress
• Experience with commercial or personal lines
• Excel reporting
