Completion & Subsea Senior Supervisor

IOTA Group is looking for an experiencedCompletion & Subsea Senior Supervisor to join its teams within a leading global energy company, supporting a major offshore development project in Azerbaijan.

The assignment is based inBaku, Azerbaijan, with activities related to complex subsea and completion operations in the Caspian region.

As aCompletion & Subsea Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of subsea and completion operations, while ensuring compliance with project procedures, HSE standards and operational requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and coordinatesubsea and completion operations.
• Ensure operations are performed in compliance with companyHSE, safety and environmental procedures.
• Demonstrate strong HSE leadership and actively participate in risk assessments and operational safety reviews.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities withcontractors, logistics teams and project management.
• Supervise service company crews involved in subsea completion activities.
• Support operational activities including:
  • Subsea Landing String operations
  • Coil Tubing
  • Slickline
  • Well Testing
  • ROV operations
  • Tubing Hanger installation
  • Christmas Tree installation
  • Open-water interventions
• Support the Company Representative during operational issues and contribute to minimizingNon-Productive Time (NPT).
• Review operational sequences, equipment availability and personnel requirements to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Perform QA/QC checks on equipment delivered by service providers.
• Participate in pre-operation meetings, risk assessments and operational debriefings.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency and planning.
• Maintain regular reporting to project management and immediately escalate operational issues.
• Contribute to post-operation reporting, lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.

• Technical degree, Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum10 years of experience in Oil & Gas operations as a Supervisor.
• Minimum5 years of experience in a similar Subsea / Completion position.
• Strong experience with offshore subsea completion operations.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and multidisciplinary offshore teams.
• Strong knowledge of operational HSE requirements and risk management.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong organisational, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a demanding operational environment.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Relevant offshore and well control certifications are highly valued.

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Working Schedule: 4x4 rotational assignment

Starting Date: 1 September 2026

Duration: 12 months, renewable

Language: English required. French is an advantage.
