We are seeking aSoftware Engineer – AUTOSAR Classic specially COM layerto implement embedded software solutions within automotive systems. This role involves working across the full software lifecycle—from requirements analysis to system integration and validation—while collaborating with global teams, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into AUTOSAR-based solutions.
- Design, configure, and integrate AUTOSAR Classic software components (SWCs, BSW, RTE).
- Software integration activities using embedded C in a multi-layered AUTOSAR environment.
- Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and resolution of software defects.
- Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, validation) to ensure end-to-end system performance.
- Interface with team members to clarify requirements, track issues, and drive closure.
- Support release activities, including build, validation, and defect triage.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience
- Strong experience withAUTOSAR Classic architecture (BSW specially COM layer, MCAL, RTE, SWCs).
- Embedded C programming and software integration.
- Understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle (V-model) in automotive environments.
- Experience inrequirement analysis, design, and test case development.
- Debugging skills in embedded systems.
- Experience working withautomotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
- Ability to work with global teams.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AUTOSAR configuration and development tools.
- Hands-on experience withVector CANoe for network simulation, testing, and debugging.
- Experience usingiSYSTEM winIDEA for debugging and target-level analysis.
- Knowledge offunctional safety (ISO 26262) and/orASPICE processes.
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in embedded environments.
