Job Description and Responsibilities
UPS is looking for someone who can help us improve our services and customer satisfaction. This position handles day-to-day service issues within Brokerage. The successful candidate will work closely with hourly and management staff to address process, safety, staffing, and training matters. This role coordinates the needs and efforts of brokers to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitates the smooth execution of procedures and management systems.

What will you do on a daily basis?
Perform general brokerage tasks and assess duties and taxes for imported international shipments.
Prepare and arrange the resources required for aircraft arrivals and the corresponding communications with Customs authorities.
Ensure that customs duties and tax assessments comply with local customs and tax regulations.
Contact customers, when necessary, to obtain information required for customs clearance of shipments.
Liaise with Customs authorities to resolve issues and obtain the necessary authorizations for customs clearance.
Prepare reports and support the Supervisor in managing and organizing the night shift team.
Resolve issues related to customs declarations and cargo manifests.
Carry out other technical and administrative tasks related to the role.

What do we expect from you?
Customs certification preferred.
Previous experience in a customs environment.
Intermediate level of English (B1), both written and spoken, preferred.
Secondary school diploma (12th grade) preferred.
Fluency in Portuguese.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Results-oriented mindset.
Problem-solving skills.
Strong team spirit.
Additional Information
Working schedule:02:00-07:00 / 08:00-10:00, Monday to Friday
