Orthopedic Surgeon – General Orthopaedics

Job Description:

A full-time opportunity is available for a General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well-established, community-based practice. This role focuses on providing high-quality general orthopedic care with the option to incorporate subspecialty interests, including adult reconstruction. The position offers a collaborative environment with experienced surgeons, strong advanced practice provider support, and access to modern surgical technology within a growing and well-resourced healthcare network.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions
• Perform general orthopedic surgical procedures, with optional focus on adult reconstruction
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers across clinic, operating room, and inpatient settings
• Utilize integrated EMR systems for documentation and patient care coordination
• Participate in a robust referral network ensuring continuity of care
• Contribute to practice growth and quality improvement initiatives
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in adult reconstruction preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license
• DEA certification
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to team-based care
