About the role

Are you passionate about transport operations, system administration and making complex processes run smoothly? Join our Transport team and play a key role in supporting the technology that powers Bunnings' last-mile delivery network across Australia and New Zealand.

As a Transport Administration Specialist, you'll help manage and optimise our last mile delivery platform, ensuring the right carriers, routes, services and operational settings are in place to support reliable deliveries for our customers. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of transport, technology and operations, partnering with teams across the business to improve delivery experiences and drive continuous improvement.

What's involved

  • Help maintain and optimise the last-mile delivery platform, ensuring accurate carrier, service, route and pricing configurations.
  • Support the onboarding of new carriers, helping to set them up for success across different operating models and delivery services.
  • Work closely with Transport Operations, Stores, Fulfilment Centres, Bunnings Local, Technology teams and delivery partners to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Investigate platform and configuration issues, identify root causes and contribute to effective solutions.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure system changes are delivered accurately and with minimal disruption.
  • Monitor data quality and configuration accuracy, helping maintain a trusted source of operational information.
  • Contribute to reporting, insights and operational reviews that help improve delivery performance and customer outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and support ongoing platform enhancements.

About You

You're someone who enjoys solving problems, pays close attention to detail and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You thrive in a fast-paced operational environment where technology, data and people come together to create better outcomes.

You'll enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders and are confident translating operational requirements into practical system solutions. Whether you're supporting carrier onboarding, investigating an issue or reviewing data, you bring a collaborative approach and a continuous improvement mindset.

You'll be joining a supportive team that values knowledge sharing, practical problem solving and working together to deliver a great customer experience.

What you'll need

  • Experience in transport administration, supply chain operations, delivery operations, carrier management or a similar operational support role.
  • Experience maintaining system configurations, operational data, rate cards or business rules within a technology platform.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and governance.
  • The ability to investigate issues, analyse information and identify practical solutions.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across operational and technical teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain, business administration, technology or equivalent industry experience will be highly regarded.

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
