About the role
We are seeking anaccomplishedKey Account Manager to lead a portfolio of New Zealand’s largest and most strategically importantbusiness customers.
In this highly visible role,you’ll partner with senior decision makers includingCEO’s, CFO’s, Chief People Officers, HR Directors, Remuneration Managers and Health & Safety Executives,to understand their business priorities and deliver solutionsthat strengthen employee health,wellbeing and engagement.
Through strategic accountleadership,you’lldrive growth, retention andenduring partnerships thathelp organisations create healthier, more engaged workforces where people feel valued because theiremployer invests in their wellbeing.
As a senior member of our Business Engagement team, you will:
Managea portfolio oflarge,complex,multi-million dollarcorporateandenterprise accounts.
Develop andexecutestrategic account plansthat drive retention,growth and long-term customervalue.
Build trusted, multi-level relationships with senior leaders anddecision-makers acrosscustomer organisations.
Leadhigh-valuecommercialdiscussionswith executive stakeholders, negotiating commercial renewals,leadingbusinessreviewsandinfluencingstrategicinitiatives,while balancing customer outcomes with long-term commercial sustainability.
Act as a strategic partnerto customers, helping them maximise the valueand impact of their investment inemployeehealth and wellbeing.
Collaboratewith internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences anddrive engagementinitiatives.
Identify,nurture and winnew business opportunities throughrelationship-led salesactivities,compelling proposals,and successfultender responses.
About you
To succeed in this role,you'll bring:
Ademonstrated ability of managing large, strategically important Enterprise and Key Accounts within a complex B2B environment.
A proventrack record ofdevelopingandmaintaining strategicinfluentialrelationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen withdemonstratedsuccessnegotiating,influencingand delivering outcomesatC-suite andsenior leadership level.
Expertise in managingcomplexB2Bcustomer portfolios, andachieving retention,growthand long-term partnership outcomes.
A genuine customer and partnership mindset, with the ability to understandcustomer priorities, challenge thinking constructively and create solutions that deliver meaningful value for both the customer and Southern Cross.
Exceptionalcommunication,presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to engageand influenceseniordecision-makers.
Strategic thinking,sound judgement,adaptability and a highly collaborative approach to working across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience within healthand wellbeing,employee benefits,healthinsuranceor financial serviceswill be highly regarded.
