Inventory Control Specialist

The Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the warehouse.  The individual assists the rest of the department with the day-to-day tasks of receiving, receiving inspection, and inventory control.  The individual will also be the primary delivery driver for the company. Qualifications & Skills – Inventory Control Specialist 

• 1-2 years’ experience in a receiving warehouse environment.
• 1-2 years’ experience in inventory flow systems.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Understanding of all relevant safety, quality, and housekeeping standards for the entire warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in using a computer, i.e. NetSuite, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Must be able to obtain a valid and current forklift certification.
• Current Utah Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities & Duties – Inventory Control Specialist

• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Drive company vehicle to pick up materials and run other errands, as necessary.
• Complete and analyze inventory adjustments for monthly counts, cycle counts, audits, and bin checks.
• Record and process all paper documentation for all receiving protocols.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Operate a forklift and other machinery to load, unload, sort, store in inventory, stage products for production, and transport products.

Pay & Schedule

• Full-Time Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands.
• $19-$23 per hour, DOE.
