We are seeking an experiencedSenior Software Engineer – Frontend to design, build, and deliver modern, scalable, secure, and accessible web applications usingNext.js, React, and TypeScript.
You will contribute to the development of high-quality digital experiences using modern server-first frontend architecture, reusable design systems, strong engineering practices, and automated testing. You will work within amonorepo environment, collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product teams, and help drive engineering standards across performance, accessibility, security, observability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, production-grade web applications usingNext.js 16+, React 19+, and TypeScript 5.9+
Implement modernNext.js App Router patterns including layouts, nested routing, loading and error states, Server Components, Client Components, and server-side data fetching
Apply appropriateReact Server Component (RSC) and client-side rendering patterns to optimise application performance and user experience
Develop reusable frontend components and shared libraries within aTurborepo and pnpm-based monorepo
Build user interfaces usingCSS/SCSS Modules and enterprise design systems such asLumen (@lumen/react)
Implement effective state-management strategies usingZustand, SWR, URL parameters, and server-first approaches
Develop comprehensive automated tests usingVitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
Integrate frontend applications with APIs and gateway solutions, includingKong, JWT-based authentication, and declarative gateway configuration
Implementfeature flag-driven development using LaunchDarkly across server-side and client-side application flows
Build accessible digital experiences aligned withWCAG 2.1 AA standards
Apply secure development practices aligned withOWASP Top 10 and enterprise security standards
Implement application observability usingOpenTelemetry, OTLP, and structured logging
Maintain high engineering quality through modern tooling includingOxlint, Oxfmt, and React Compiler
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, solution design, and PR-based engineering collaboration
Follow disciplined Git practices includingconventional commits, rebasing, branching, and pull-request workflows
Collaborate with UX, design, product, backend, platform, and engineering teams to deliver consistent and maintainable customer experiences
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience inTypeScript and React, with a solid understanding of modern React architecture and development practices
Strong experience withNext.js App Router, including layouts, loading states, routing, Server Components, Client Components, server actions and/or server-side data fetching
Good understanding ofReact Server Components (RSC) and the ability to determine when server-side versus client-side components should be used
Experience developing applications usingTypeScript in strict mode
Experience working withinmonorepo architectures, preferably using Turborepo, pnpm workspaces, shared packages, and reusable libraries
Strong automated testing experience using tools such asVitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
Experience with frontend state and data-management approaches such asZustand, SWR, URL-based state, and server-first patterns
Experience building reusable UI components usingCSS/SCSS Modules and enterprise design systems
Strong understanding ofweb accessibility and WCAG 2.1 AA standards
Understanding of secure coding practices andOWASP Top 10
Strong Git and collaborative development practices includingconventional commits, rebase workflows, code reviews, and PR-based development
Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript engineering tooling, linting, formatting, and build optimisation
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, maintainable, performant, and reusable code
Nice to Have:
Experience withmicro-frontend architectures or API gateway patterns using technologies such asKong or NGINX
Experience withLaunchDarkly or similar feature management and feature flag platforms
Exposure toOpenTelemetry, OTLP, structured logging, tracing, and application observability
Experience withStorybook or developing and maintaining enterprise design systems
Knowledge of banking and regulatory domains includingKYC, AML/CTF, FATCA, and CRS
Understanding of JWT-based authentication and secure API integration patterns
Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications and distributed engineering teams
Education Qualifications
Bachelors of Engineering or BTech or equivalent graduation
