We have an opportunity for a Heat Pumps Assembly to join our Sanford, NE team. You will help us build high‑quality products by assembling components with the correct tools, verifying parts against the BOM and Pick List, and ensuring each unit meets our quality standards through proper testing. You’ll also support us in safely packing finished products, following 5S practices, rotating through tasks, and helping train new team members. In this role, you play a key part in keeping our production process efficient, accurate, and team‑driven.

You will:

Assembly

• Ability to assemble a product
• Use of provided tools
•  Knowledge of required quality
• Knowledge of correct tools for jobs
• Checking air pressure gauges.
• Checking the parts to ensure they are correct, per BOM & Pick List
• Assembly of the main unit, with knowledge of various motors for pumps
• Able to run labels
• Write up scrap at the end of the day.

Testing

• Ability to run tester
• Knowledge of required quality
• Knowledge of electrical components for tester operation
• Knowledge of correct labels for each pump

Packing

• Use of proper lifting techniques
• Proper use of any and all lifting devices
• Knowledge of foam machine and pertinent packaging materials

All Positions

• Training new team members on all jobs
• Follow rotation schedule
• Follow 5S activities daily
• Must be an active Team Member

Key Qualifications: 

• Assembly/Packing experience
• Basic math skills

Shift Hours:4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MON-Thurs, plus OT on Fridays and weekends when needed

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay will be from $17.00 per hour DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
