Wagner Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!

Position Highlights

Pay rate starting at $36.20 per hour, consideration for experience + $15,000 sign-on bonus eligible

The MLT/MLS/MT performs a variety of chemical, hematologic and microscopic procedures following established standards and practices.

Performs clerical duties with exceptional customer service. Must ensure compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients, ranging from newborn to elderly.

General Hours of Work

Rotating day shifts, Sunday - Saturday. Call rotation every 7th weekend, every 8th holiday.

Education / Experience:

MLT: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

MLS/MT: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.

Previous lab experience is preferred, but not required.

License / Certification

Medial Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) Certificate or other verifying documentation of passing the certification test is required.

Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program provided by WCMH is required.
