We are looking for a District Heating Operations Supervisor for the Arnhem-Nijmegen region.

Are you passionate about applying technology in the field and would you like to contribute to a reliable heat supply for thousands of customers? In this role, you will ensure that work on heating infrastructure is carried out safely, efficiently and according to agreed quality standards.

You will spend a significant amount of time on-site and act as the link between technicians, contractors, customers, municipalities and internal colleagues. You will supervise activities, monitor quality and safety, and support the resolution of technical issues and faults.

What will you do?

As a District Heating Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities related to heating infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Supervising work carried out by contractors and technical technicians.
• Ensuring that work is performed according to technical guidelines, quality standards and agreed procedures.
• Monitoring safety during on-site activities.
• Coordinating with contractors, technicians, residents, customers, municipalities and other stakeholders.
• Supporting the analysis and resolution of faults affecting pipelines and installations.
• Identifying technical or operational risks and ensuring that they are followed up in a timely manner.
• Contributing to the reliable, safe and efficient operation of the heating network.
• Participating in the on-call service several weeks per year. During these periods, you will be available 24/7 from Thursday to Thursday for incidents and work involving pipelines and installations.

Your working environment:

You will join a technical operations and maintenance organization responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe and efficient operation of heating and cooling systems.

You will be based in Arnhem and mainly work within the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. You will regularly work on-site and interact daily with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working in the field and can easily coordinate with different stakeholders.

You have:

• A completed technical MBO level 3 or 4 qualification, for example in Mechanical Engineering, Installation Technology or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in installation technology, heating, energy, infrastructure or technical operations and maintenance.
• Experience as a work planner, technician, site supervisor, operations supervisor, technical coordinator or in a similar technical role.
• A valid driving licence (Category B).
• A practical and independent approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• A willingness to work on-site, supervise activities and take responsibility for their execution.

The following certifications are considered a plus:

• VCA-VOL
• VEWA AVP/WV
• NEN 3140
