Job Title:Remote Sales & Marketing SpecialistÂ
Job Type: Full-Time | Independent ContractorÂ
About the Role:Â
An eCommerce business is seeking a proactive, sales-driven, and customer-focusedSales & Marketing Specialist to support daily sales operations, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives. This role is primarily focused on driving sales, managing customer relationships, and providing excellent customer support, while also assisting with marketing content, social media, and digital asset creation.
The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with eCommerce, AI tools, social media platforms, and basic content creation is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:Â
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Manage and update customer information within the CRM system
- Conduct outbound follow-ups and sales outreach to potential and existing customers
- Assist customers throughout the sales process while identifying upselling opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication
- Support business growth by helping generate new sales opportunities
Customer Service & Order Support
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, live chat, and other communication channels
- Handle product inquiries, returns, exchanges, and order-related concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate complex concerns when necessary
Marketing & Content Support
- Assist with creating and updating marketing materials and promotional assets
- Support basic graphic design, video editing, and social media content creation
- Help maintain website content and product information across digital platforms
- Support promotional campaigns for eCommerce and online sales initiatives
Social Media & eCommerce Support
- Assist in managing TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop activities
- Help upload products, monitor listings, and support online promotions
- Stay updated on current social media and eCommerce trends
- Utilize AI tools to improve content creation and marketing workflows
Administrative & Process Support
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation as needed
- Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy across systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to support daily business operations
Qualifications & Ideal Traits:Â
Must-Have
- Proven experience inSales, Business Development, or Customer Success
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and close conversations
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience handling customer service across multiple communication channels
- Strong CRM management experience
- Highly organized, proactive, and reliable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
Preferred
- Experience supporting eCommerce businesses
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop
