Who We Are
We believe that people do extraordinary things when they’re given the freedom to grow – and that belief drives everything we do atOptimax Energy. For over a decade, we’ve been buildingsmart, automated trading systems that are helping shape the future ofgreen energy across Europe. We’re a team of around60 international professionals based inLeipzig, Germany – and now we’re looking for teammates in New Zealand.
Why New Zealand? We want our traders to enjoy their workand their lives. By adding a team in your time zone, we’reeliminating the need for night shifts – so you get to trade European electricity markets during normal daytime hours from the comfort of your own home.
We’re a culturally diverse group united by ashared mission: accelerating the energy transition throughtechnology and smart trading. We genuinely care aboutwork-life balance, creativefreedom, and giving our people room togrow. Different perspectives make us stronger, and we actively foster an inclusive environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.
If you’re excited by the idea of combining technology with energy markets – and doing it from Aotearoa – we’d love to hear from you.
