We’re hiring a Project Delivery Manager to drive POC-to-launch deployments across multiple African markets — at the nexus of commercial and project delivery.

This is not a role for the faint-hearted, or the comfortable. You’ll own delivery end-to-end: bringing real PM framework and method, formal planning, and rigorous follow-up and action management to fast-moving, high-stakes deployments. You’ll be client-facing, sitting where commercial deals meet project execution, holding super vendors, MNOs, banks and utilities to account — and just as often, being the only Finergi presence in the room when you do it.

We work fast, and often in ambiguity. Plans change, markets differ, and the people who thrive here are the ones who adapt quickly, impose structure on the chaos, and chase every action to closure without being asked.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring 5–7 years of hands-on delivery ownership, with a track record of carrying projects from concept through to commercial launch — not just administering plans others have built. You’ll have a disciplined command of project management framework and method, the rigor to plan formally and follow up relentlessly, and the commercial fluency to operate credibly where deals and delivery meet. Experience in payments, lending or fintech is essential, as is genuine exposure to delivery across Sub-Saharan Africa and the ability to own external relationships with demanding counterparties. Above all, you’ll be someone who imposes order on ambiguity and is comfortable being personally accountable for outcomes.

What you will be doing

• 5–7 years of hands-on project delivery experience, with a track record of taking projects from concept through to commercial launch
• Strong command of project management frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to bring structure, not just follow existing processes
• Experience inpayments, lending, or fintech
• Exposure to delivery acrossSub-Saharan Africa
• Confidence managing external stakeholders in commercially driven environments
• Experience delivering complex technical or system integration projects
• Familiarity with Agile environments and working with development and QA teams
• Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market initiatives
