THE JOB:

ResponsibleforsupportingtheBellagioConservatory'shorticultureoperationsbymaintainingworld-classfloraldisplays,themedinstallations,seasonalexhibits,andplantcollectionswhileensuringMGMRIstandardsofserviceareconsistentlydeliveredtoguestsandcoworkers.

THE STARTING RATE:
$21.50 Per Hour
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• ResponsibleforalwaysmaintainingtheMGMRIstandardsofservicetoguestsandcoworkers.

• Ensurestheprincipaldutiesandresponsibilitiesofhorticultureclassificationsareproperlyperformed.

• Driveandoperatecompanyvehiclesand/orhorticulture-relatedequipmenttotravelbetweenpropertiesandtransportmaterialsandequipment.

• Directdailyassignmentswhileworkingwiththecrewontasks,events,projects,BellagioConservatorydisplays,orotherhorticulture-relatedduties;troubleshootandshiftprioritiesasneeded.

• Communicate,plan,andfollowuponassignmentswithmanagersandstakeholders.

• Performregularsiteinspectionsinareasofresponsibility,includingBellagioConservatoryinstallationsanddisplays,toprioritizeworkload,includingshiftcoverageanddesignworkasneeded.

• Assistwithpurchasingdutiesandmaintaininventorywhilecoordinatingwithmanagementforbudgetaryandtrackingpurposes.

• Assistwithteachinglaborersandgardenersonproperhorticulturepracticesandindustrystandards.

• Cleanandmaintaingardeningtools,equipment,andsupplyareastoensuregoodworkingconditions.

• FollowMGMRIpoliciesandproceduresformobiledevicestoincludeworkordercreation,response,andcompletion.

• Inspecttheworkareatoidentifyandcorrectanyequipmentmalfunctionsorsafetyhazards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age older

• Must obtain a valid driver's license

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required

•  Two-year degree or certificate in Ornamental Horticulture or related field Preferred

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Related Experience Required

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Supervisory experience Preferred

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in high end/high volume horticulture environments Preferred

• 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in working in Commercial landscape maintenance or Resort environment Preferred
