Title :Operations Supervisor
Location:Â 861 Sunshine Rd, Kansas City, KS 66115, USA
Duration: 12 months
Shift : Must be able to work all shifts (Days: 5:45 AM–6:45 PM / Nights: 5:45 PM–6 AM) and every other weekend.
Hourly Rate: $42.00/Hour
Job Duties
- Manage a team of 12–15 hourly employees.
- Learn and oversee the cracker-making process.
- Enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) compliance.
- Drive key metrics on the production line and hold employees accountable for results.
- Supervise hourly employees and execute production plans for assigned areas/shifts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Manage production operations, site security, customer service, cost, and labor relations.
- Maintain smooth day-to-day plant operations under a 2-2-3 shift schedule (Days/Nights).
Required:
- 3–5 years of prior manufacturing experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity.
- Proven ability to effectively manage people.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills.
- Must be able to workall shifts (Days: 5:45 AM–6:45 PM / Nights: 5:45 PM–6 AM) and every other weekend.
- Experience managing safety and/or quality programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Strong manufacturing aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution.
