Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the front-line representative for our customers, ensuring a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience. You will handle transactions, maintain a clean and organized sales area, and provide excellent customer service in a busy travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Operate cash register and process various payment methods accurately
* Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product location or information.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking supplies and cleaning countertops.
* Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
* Communicate effectively with team members and management.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the travel plaza.

Job Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus.
* Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
