Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Richardson

We are looking for passionate Therapists for both full andpart time roles.  The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers.  Applicants must be licensed to practice and have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders    

• Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, or families    

• Refer clients to specialists if necessary    

• Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs    

• Monitor client progress during treatment    

• Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image,stress and suicide    

• Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight    

• Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care 

• Diagnose and treat patients fromdifferent backgrounds/diverse backgrounds in a respectful manner  

• Document and navigate EHR independently andin a timely manner. 

• Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensureaccurate andappropriate documentation. 

Qualifications : 

• Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)    

• Prior experience in psychotherapy    

Working Conditions:  

• Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations. 

• May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules. 

• Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to sit for 3-4 hours at a time between patient care and documentation. 

• Fine finger coordinationrequired for typing, pressing objects such asutilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposes 

• Ability to speak clearly with patients and team members so others can understand.  

• Ability to hear and understand others when speaking  Ability to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet away  

• Ability to act and move quickly in emergency situations involving patient care
