What You Will Do
Day to day running of 5 axis machine centre (Doosan, Mazak & Matsuura)Â
The machining of complex aluminium and stainless fabricationsÂ
Aid the setting up and proving out of programs with EngineersÂ
Support and manage the machine tooling to best achieve drawing tolerancesÂ
Carry out dimensional checks using the designated tools as defined by each program and Op sheetÂ
Set up and run programs in accordance with the Op sheets and Program specificationsÂ
Escalate any issues, errors or concerns immediately to the Line ManagerÂ
Any other duties as required by your line managerÂ
Support CORE and keep up excellent housekeeping practicesÂ
Shifts:
This role requires flexibility to work night shifts.
8.30pm till 6:15am Monday to Thursday
9hrs 15mins shifts
Shift Allowance 30%

Experience We Prefer:
Recognized engineering apprenticeship e.g. City & Guilds/ BTEC Level 3 or equivalentÂ
Good level of numeracy and literacyÂ
Good level of IT skillsÂ
Skills & Certifications:
Setting & operating Various machine centreâsÂ
Vertical 5 axis machine centres â Doosan, Matsuura & Mazak would be idealÂ
Mazak Intergrex (Tilting âBâ Axis) experienceÂ
Aerospace or Oil & Gas background favourableÂ
Self-InspectionÂ
Various measuring/ inspection techniquesÂ
PC Dmis knowledge advantageous â CMM operating Â
Knowledge of machining Aluminium & Stainless fabricationsÂ
Understanding of adaptive machining â Renishaw probing essential   Â
