Since 1996, FIJI Water has embodied what it means to be Earth's Finest Water®. Sourced from a natural aquifer hundreds of miles below the Earth’s surface, and bottled in Viti Levu, FIJI Water is known worldwide for its iconic square bottle, unique mineral profile, and soft smooth taste.

FIJI Water is one of the country’s leading employers–it is innovative and safe and creates long-term personal and professional opportunities for its employees. Being part of FIJI Water is to be in a larger family of businesses and brands across the globe as a division of The Wonderful Company, and one that is helping to make the world a better place with its high-quality, healthy brands, and a mission to ensure the communities where its employees live and work thrive. That commitment extends to the FIJI Water Foundation—one of the largest philanthropic organizations in Fiji—which focuses its efforts and investments on education, clean water access, environmental sustainability, health and wellness, emergency relief, and community development.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced technical training professional seeking an international career experience in Fiji. The position may particularly appeal to someone currently based in New Zealand who is open to relocating to Fiji and contributing their expertise to the development of local technical capability.

  • Ensure all training is delivered safely and in accordance with PPE and Lock Out Tag Out requirements.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, training and assessment records.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders, technical experts, Fiji National University and other industry partners.
  • Participate in site visits and workforce development initiatives across Fiji.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Trade Certificate, Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance or technical operations.
  • At least three years’ experience delivering technical training, coaching or workforce development activities.
  • Strong technical knowledge across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
  • Strong communication, presentation and coaching skills.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability and willingness to relocate to Fiji and travel domestically as required.

An adult education or trainer and assessor qualification would be advantageous, along with experience in food and beverage manufacturing, industrial processing, competency-based training or Learning Management Systems.
